Handling of Reports: To respond to threats that do not pose an imminent danger, a Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity team composed of the Executive Director/CEO and (at minimum) one member of the Leadership Team will assess the legitimacy and immediacy of the threat to the repondent's well-being and safety. We will proceed with a systematic plan of protective and investigative actions. Should the allegations be about the Executive Director/CEO, a member of the Leadership Team will engage the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to proceed with the investigation. It will remain confidential until the completion of the investigation and review with the Board Chair who may elect to include the Executive Committee acting as Human Resources for the organization.
