Acceptable Donations

Please understand that we reserve the right to refuse any items that we deem unsafe or unsellable. The following information is meant to serve as a general guide. Acceptable items are subject to change due to current inventory and space limitations. It is recommended that donors call before bringing their items to donate.

Furniture

  • We accept most residential living room, dining room, office, and bedroom furniture
  • Furniture must be free of rips, tears, cracks, stains, pet damage, and general wear spots
  • Please call ahead for oversized or commercial furniture

Cabinetry & Countertops

  • Cabinet sets must include all doors and drawers
  • We also accept individual cabinet doors and hardware

Appliances & Electronics

  • We accept large and small appliances and electronics, including air conditioners and furnaces
  • TVs must be flat screen with an HDMI input, no box TVs
  • All items must be in working order and have all electrical cords or chargers

Housewares & Decor
We accept all manner of miscellaneous household items to include dishes, pots and pans, kitchen items, artwork, and home d?cor items

Building Materials

  • We accept nearly all unused building materials including hardwood flooring, tile, lumber, roofing materials, duct work, and insulation
  • Materials must be in usable condition, free of rot, rust, nails, and screws
  • No small scraps of lumber under 4ft
  • Sheet goods must be a half sheet or larger
  • Flooring and tile must be unused

Doors & Windows

  • Exterior and interior doors in good condition
  • Vinyl windows complete with sashes must be smaller than 5?x5?
  • No wood or aluminum windows

Landscaping & Masonry

  • Lawn care and power tools, must be in good working condition
  • Bricks, stone, cinderblocks, and granite
  • Flower pots
  • Fencing & edging

Tools & Hardware?

  • Hand tools and power tools, must be complete and in useable condition
  • Doorknobs, deadbolts, hinges
  • Nuts/Bolts, Screw/Nails

Lighting & Electrical

  • Light fixtures (new in box only) and light bulbs (no fluorescent)
  • Ceiling fans (complete)
  • Junction boxes, breakers, fuses, wire, cable, conduit
  • Switches/plates, outlets/plates

Plumbing & Fixtures

  • Bathtubs and shower pans (no jetted tubs, cast iron tubs, or shower doors)
  • Sinks, and faucets (no cast iron sinks)
  • Toilets (must be low-flow, complete and assembled)
  • All copper, PVC & ABS fittings.

Vehicles

  • Cars, Trucks, Vans, and Motorcycles
  • Must have a clear title and proof of ownership

Items we do NOT take

  • Mattresses and box springs
  • Box TVs, computers or computer accessories
  • Unframed mirrors or plates of glass
  • Any household or construction chemicals including paint, primer, and stain
  • Exercise equipment
  • Drywall
  • Cast iron tubs or sinks
  • Child equipment (car seats, cribs, toys)
  • Fluorescent lights or fixtures
  • Carpets or rugs

Disposal Fees

Let’s say that you have an item included in your donation that we are unable to accept for resale. We can help save you a trip to the landfill! If we can recycle it, we will gladly take your items free of charge. If we can?t recycle it, we can dispose of it for a small fee. This service is not intended to serve as a trash drop-off, but rather a convenience if you have one or two items in your total donation that we can’t use to support our mission. Please note we cannot accept any hazardous or electronic waste.?

  • Small quantity (would fill a shopping cart) $10
  • Large quantity (pickup truck full) $25
  • Upholstered furniture $10/seat (example: $10 for a recliner, $30 for a three-person couch)
  • FREE recycling for all metal materials/items
